As the holiday season approaches, we often think of ways to give back, connect with others, and celebrate the year’s accomplishments. At CiviCO, we’re excited to do all of that and more at our upcoming event, HEART for the Holidays on November 14 from 3:30 – 7:00 PM at the Great Divide Barrel Bar. It’s a festive opportunity to come together with our community, honor exceptional leaders, and make a meaningful impact for kids across Colorado.
It’s hard to believe, but we’re nearing one year since CTLF and CiviCO joined in a common mission to ignite and unite cultures of leadership for a better Colorado. Our historical organizations both believe that leadership isn’t just about positions or titles; it’s about leading with HEART. HEART-Level Leadership is at the core of our values, encompassing humility, engagement, authenticity, regeneration, and service. These traits allow leaders to not only create vision but also hold space for others, nurturing stronger teams, organizations, and communities.
It’s with this mission in mind that we shine a light on those individuals who truly embody these values, as we honor members of our community with the HEART-Level Leadership Award and the newly introduced Leadership Ignition Award.
We’re also living our values on this special night by —collaborating with Wish for Wheels to build bikes for children in our communities.
This incredible organization delivers brand new bikes to 2nd graders in low-income schools across the Denver area. Biking represents so much more than just a mode of transportation—it provides independence, confidence, and joy. On November 14, you’ll have the chance to help build bikes for these kids, contributing directly to this life-changing experience.
From 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM, we’ll form teams to assemble bikes, working side by side to serve others and embody one of our core values: True to Service. We’re aiming to raise $5,000, which will cover the cost of the bikes we build and directly impact children in need. Every dollar counts, and your contribution will go a long way in giving a child the freedom to ride.
After our work is done, it’s time to celebrate. From 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, we will present two awards that reflect the spirit of leadership within our community:
Both awards will be presented during our evening gathering, where we’ll also toast to the upcoming holiday season, enjoy camaraderie, and celebrate all that our community has achieved this year.

A Season of Service and Celebration
We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Alpine Bank and board member Matt Teeters for their generous sponsorship of HEART for the Holidays. Since 1973, Alpine Bank has been inspired by a culture of caring—caring for their customers, communities, and employees. Their commitment to strengthening the well-being of Colorado reflects in everything they do, and we are honored to partner with them. Their support makes it possible for us to come together and make a tangible difference for children and communities across the state. Thank you, Alpine Bank, for helping us lead with HEART and build a brighter future!
As we gather at the Great Divide Barrel Bar, we’re not just building bikes—we’re building community. We’re celebrating the leaders who are making a difference across Colorado, and we’re coming together to ignite the next wave of HEART-Level Leadership.
We hope you’ll join us on November 14 for an afternoon and evening filled with service, connection, and celebration.
