At CiviCO, we believe every Coloradan deserves a civic pathway. That might look like a way to engage more deeply in their community, to lead with courage and humility within their company, or working to help build a stronger, more connected Colorado as a public servant. This belief has been our compass throughout 2025, guiding our programs, partnerships, and growth as we work to ignite and unite cultures of leadership across the state.
A little more than midway through the year, it feels important to pause and share two powerful examples of progress that capture both where we are and where we are going: the release of our 2025 Mid-Year Impact Report and the launch of our brand-new website.

Our Impact, Measured and Shared
The first half of 2025 has been a season of growth, learning, and momentum for CiviCO. Our Colorado Governors Fellowship has expanded its reach across more regions of the state, giving mid- and senior-level professionals the chance to explore civic leadership in real time and in real communities.
Our Leadership Accelerator will empower early- and mid-career professionals to clarify their civic identity and build confidence in leading from any seat. And through Purpose Hours, we have created space for community conversations that take on some of the most pressing issues facing Colorado, from political polarization to mental health to the future of our workforce.
These programs, taken together, reflect more than just activity. They reflect progress and evidence that when leaders come together across differences and sectors, put community at the center, and lead with heart, change is possible.
That is why we are so proud to share our 2025 Mid-Year Impact Report! It is not just a collection of numbers and program updates, though the numbers are compelling: hundreds of Coloradans engaged, leaders representing nearly every region of the state, and stories of individuals stepping into new roles of service and leadership. More importantly, it reflects what happens when generosity, courage, and collaboration fuel leadership.
In the report, you will see the tangible outcomes of our work, but you will also see the vision that drives us forward! A vision where leadership is not reserved for the few but cultivated in the many. A vision where trust, resilience, and connection replace division and passivity. A vision where every Coloradan is equipped and encouraged to take their own civic pathway.
A New Website, A Renewed Invitation
If the Impact Report is a snapshot of progress to date, our new website is a window into the future. Thanks to the creativity and generosity of our Board of Advisors member Jaclyn Gruber of Ivy Marketing, we are thrilled to launch a redesigned livecivico.org.
This is not just a cosmetic update. The site is designed with intention: to make it easier for every visitor, whether a seasoned executive, a rising leader, or a community member searching for connection, to see themselves in the work of leadership. It is a digital reflection of our core belief that everyone has a role to play in shaping Colorado’s future.
On the new site, you will find clear pathways into our programs, stories of leaders who are making a difference, and opportunities to engage with a community dedicated to advancing the common good. It is not just about what CiviCO offers, but about how you can find your civic pathway and walk it alongside others.
The timing of this launch is no accident. As we deepen our work across the state, we want the invitation to be clear: there is a place for you here. Whether you are curious about civic engagement, eager to develop your leadership skills, or ready to connect with others committed to progress, CiviCO is here to help you take the next step.
Looking Ahead Together
When I look at the progress we have made so far this year, I am struck by how much of it is rooted in partnership. Our staff, our board, our funders, our alumni, and our community of members have all played a role in advancing this vision. It is a reminder that leadership is not a solo act. It is collective. It is courageous. And it is necessary. And it will require CiviCO to continue to seek new partnerships and connections to grow toward the impact we ultimately envision.
The months ahead will bring more opportunities to grow and connect, including new regional Fellowship gatherings, additional Purpose Hours, and continued investment into leadership programs that span generations, geographies, and sectors. Just as importantly, they will bring more opportunities for you to engage. Our belief is simple but profound: leadership is an activity and depends on each of us engaging in the work.
As you read through the Impact Report or explore the new website, I hope you will see not just what CiviCO has done, but what we can do together. Colorado’s future is shaped by the choices we make now to step in, to lead with heart, and to walk our civic pathways with courage and purpose.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
